It all began in 2009, a long conceived idea came to life, the Exquisite Lady of the Year (ELOY), the first ever successful award ceremony of its kind was packaged and launched by Exquisite Magazine, led by its publisher, Tewa Onasanya.

2015 Elections: 27 Aspirants Pick PDP Nomination Forms in Sokoto State

Twenty seven members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) seeking for various positions at the national level and the Sokoto State House of assembly have picked nomination forms to contest the 2015 general elections.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that this is sequel to the setting up of a 20-man committee for the sale of the forms.

The committee has Alhaji Abubakar Yabo as its Chairman while Alhaji Abubakar Kantoma, the Special Adviser to the party’s Chairman on Political Matters, Alhaji Abubakar Kantoma, is its Secretary.

Kantoma told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sokoto on Friday that the exercise was commenced in line with a directive from the national headquarters of the party.

The directive stipulated that the exercise should begin on October 10th nationwide.

“So, it is in line with this directive that the committee was set up and we commenced our assignment on October, 16th.

“The 27 aspirants who have so far bought the forms included incumbent and new aspirants seeking to contest for senatorial seats, House of Representatives and the state House of Assembly positions,’’ Kantoma, added.

He stated that the senatorial seat, house of representatives and state assembly forms cost N4.5 million, N2.5 million and N1.2 million respectively.

Kantoma explained that the sale of the nomination forms would end on November 5th.

“So far, so good and the exercise is going on smoothly and we don’t envisage any problems. Every bonafide member of the party is free to buy the forms and aspire to occupy any positions,’’ he said.

Denmark to Ban Human Sex with Animals because Animals can’t Give Permission

Denmark is making plans to outlaw sex with animals. And one of the reasons the country’s agriculture minister gave was that animals are not able to give human’s permission to engage in sexual activity with them.

According to Metro UK, The minister, Dan Jørgensen, said:
“I have decided that we should ban sex with animals.
That is happening for numerous reasons. The most important is that in the vast majority of cases it is an attack against the animals.
And under all circumstances, any doubts about it should go to the animals’ benefit. They naturally cannot say no to going along with it. Therefore it should be banned.”
Denmark has reportedly experienced a growth in animal sex tourism. It is hoped that the ban will help curb stem this growth.
A survey was conducted in the country to get people’s views on the matter. 67 percent of people agreed with the ban.

While speaking with a soft sell magazine, Mercy revealed her first encounter with senior colleague, Genevieve Nnaji and how she had to hide in a car boot just because she was so nervous to meet her, even though she came there to see her. It’s so hilarious. Her words; The first time I met her, my friend took me there. When we got to where she was, I became nervous.

 I told my friend “no let me hide in your boot.” And I did. I got into her boot. (laughs) Can you imagine I came to see her and when I got there I wanted to run back. I jumped into my friends boot. So, when she came out of the hotel, I could not see her, I could only hear her voice. The 2nd time I saw her was on set. When she came down and I met her she said ahh! Mercy I like your movies and I started crying. I was in tears of joy. I said Aunty Genevieve, so you watch my movies. She was sort of embarrassed. Before I met her, she had already known that there was somebody who was crazily insane about her. She was really nice to me, receptive. And even whenever we work together she will correct me and say that thing you did, you could have done it this way. Usually, in life, you will know somebody, who is more than you. Give him or her that respect. You can’t fight a battle you can’t win. It does not make any sense. If somebody is much more than you, there is nothing as big as you admitting it, and hearing from that person. I didn’t come into the picture to compete with anybody. I didn’t come into the picture to rub shoulders or outshine anybody. I came to learn, do it well, make it and be there
