There is no way I can go nude for One Million Naira – Actor, Martins Amaihe

Nollywood’s Martins Amaihe who was born on the 26th of October  to the family of Mr. & Mrs Paul Uchechukwu Amaihe, has revealed that one million Naira cannot make him show his nakedness on screen.

The Ihebinowere-Okwudor, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State born actor who is a graduated of Accounting from Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri who did not actually reveal his selling point for a nude role however said that he recently turned down an offer to play such role recently and has no regret for that.
“At this point of my Career I will not give up, I will make sure I get to the top; give my best  to viewers  and stay focus in order to archive my dream.
Recently I was called upon to go nude on a new movie which the producer ask me to go nude for a Million Naria which i refused and dropped the job for someone else.
 I am an actor and I am to make believe but have we forgotten that we have a culture, what is right and wrong? There is no way I can go nude for One Million Naira” He said.
Talented Martins Amaihe has taken part in various activities in the Nigerian movie / theater industry Nollywood such as acting on movies, stage drama in theaters and soaps on television.

Since 2002, as a member of the AGN (Actors Guild of Nigeria), he has  acted in series of movies such as Silent night, face off, Rampage on Campus, Cry of an Orphan (Stage Drama), The concubine (a theater stage drama at the National Theater), Black Friday (Only shows on theater) and many more. He has been featured in over 65 movies and was previously nominated for Best Teenage actor in Thema Award in the year 2000 for the movie Silent night and best upcoming actor on stage drama in Encomium Entertainment Award in 2009.

America-based Teen-model, Caroline Ikpea, will be starring as lead in a forth coming TV series titled “IVANCA” to be Produced by Bigspin pictures, a subsidiary of Bigspin Entertainment

Beautiful, young Caroline got the lead role based on the strict requirement of the production team as they search for a female teenage cast with the right acting skills, exposure and knowledge of science to easily adapt to the role. As a model, actress and a core science student it wasn’t difficult for the casting crew to narrow their search.
Caroline Ipkea, 17, born to Nigerian parent, hails from Edo State and spent most of her early life in Nigeria before traveling to the US to further her education. Despite being a science student with dreams of becoming a chemical engineer Caroline also spares time following her passion for art as a model, actor and singer.

The film titled Ivanca is a drama series about pregnant young and naive girls who are lured into trading their unwanted babies for money instead of abortion. The trade seems legal until one of the girls (Ivanca), Ivanca was kidnapped and taken hostage.

I almost lost my sight after being beaten by BMS Records, Producer, CBox claims

Music producer, CBox who has been working with Bush Man Swag Records on 28th September posted a picture of him with bleeding eye, claiming he has been beaten by Bush Man Swag Records.

Although he failed to mention the name of a single person, the producer took time to narrate his ordeal claiming that the beating has turned out to be his reward for the services he rendered to the label for Six Months.
In the post, he said “d reward of humble and upright services is to reap good benefits but such has not been my case with Bushman Swagg records label, who have served for almost a year and six months now. my reward has been false accusations, betrayal, deceit and assault. I served dis label with all my heart and artistes in Owerri most especially would testify to dis. I have been insulted and made jest of for d label’s sake and yet I stood for them and my payment was been cheated on and fooled into believing it would be better and now it has gotten worst for me. am on d verge of almost loosing my sight because I was taken my exams and it was claimed by d record label DAT I was playing truancy and d only way to confront me with d issue is to beat me to almost blinding me. God in heaven would judge my case as I have my hands clean . may I also note DAT I was never signed under this label but I served it unalloyed and unreserved and I say without payment or favours DAT I did pay for in one way or the other, intellectually and skillful that would favour d label. BMS sounds and BMS record label would face God’s judgment. take a look at my dp and see what d reward of my hard labour for BMS Entertainment is…..God is watching. Simply because I was about to be robbed of my right and I refused….”

So far, CBox who posted the image through his personal account, is yet to reply our message to give details on how he was beaten and who did it to him. Same goes to the CEO of the label, Mr Henry whom we are still tracking to hear his own side of the story. No one has so far confirmed why he was beaten and who did it.

Prince Odiase Okojie, Husband of the The Super-Gorgeous Actress who spoke with us claimed that as a student of history, he likes King Henry’s exploit and because he knows definitely that royalty is around his family, the name sure fits his new joy. 


Interestingly, before the eventual birth of the baby, news took over town when the beautiful actress was still expectant that she had delivered, many blogs and online media went to town which became an embarrassing situation to the husband. 

The husband who was uncomfortable with several congratulatory calls and text messages was on the verge of issuing a statement to correct the erroneous news when the star actress delivered the baby the second day. 

Speaking with the actress who was preparing to leave the hospital for her home in Baltimore last Saturday, the very happy actress said, she is giving all thanks to her creator for the safe delivery. She said further that she is using the opportunity to thank her numerous fans and friends and family members who stood with her in prayers.

There is no music industry in Nigeria’ – singer Etcetera says

Controversial artist turned writer, Paul Uche Ejikeme aka Etcetera says there is no music industry in Nigeria yet. When asked what he would do if he had the opportunity to change anything in the Nigerian music industry, he said;

“There is no industry yet my brother. So the only thing that can be changed is everything. What we have is just a bunch of hardworking individuals swimming against the tide to make a living for themselves. We need structures to have an industry. And as we speak, we don’t have that industry yet”
Asked why Nigerian artistes are acknowledged globally even with the seeming no structure he talked about, Etcetera said;
“Our artiste are known globally because music is the only universally accepted language. But with structures, our musicians will rip the fruits of their labor and have something to fall back when they are too old to jump on any stage” he said. Continue…
Asked if his controversial newspaper publications are not publicity stunts after a failed musical career, Etcetera said;
“You call it controversial, but a lot of other people call it the truth and if you attribute the truth to publicity stunt, then the writers of the bible must be equally guilty. And let’s not forget that the essence of freedom and democracy is for people to be able to air their opinions always without retribution. After all, we are all humans, even though some are political dancers” he said
Asked why he thinks Tiwa Savage, her husband and others publicly criticized him over his publications, he said;
“I think you should ask them. They are the only ones who can answer that question. I am not a shrink or a mind reader. So, I wouldn’t know why they said what they said. People’s rights to their opinion must be respected at all times. As a nation, that is what we are trying to achieve and we will get there someday by God’s grace” he said
When advised to also change his genre of music so he could flourish as most artiste have done, he said;
“I am not a groupie. Nobody sets standards for me. So I make my own part. Goodluck to those artiste that have changed because they thought the new course is better. If there are may routes to the village square, it is left for everyone to choose a more appropriate one. Avoid These Foods That May Hinder You From Having Children!!!

Infertility is a widespread problem and for about one in five infertile couples the problem lies solely in the male partner (male infertility).

An emerging body of research suggests that what you eat has a role to play in spe rm count whether they are normally shaped (morphology), and how well they move (motility).
In fact, research shows that there are specific fertility foods a man can add to his diet to help increase his odds of conceiving a baby and other foods that can actually impair his fertility.
Spe rm count is very important because if it is not there, you’ll not be able to father a child.
Though the research is still new, one thing is clear: The foods that may pose a threat to male fertility are many of the same dietary culprits behind things such as Type 2 Diabetes and heart disease.
Below are some of the foods that may hurt male fertility:
Processed meats
Eating the wrong kind of meat could compromise your spe rm. A 2014 Harvard study showed men who consumed the most processed meat like hamburgers, hot dogs, salami, bologna, bacon, had 23 percent fewer normal spe rm than guys who ate it sparingly.
In another 2014 study, published in the journal Epidemiology, the same researchers found that eating processed meat was associated with lower spe rm count.
What you should eat instead: The same researchers found that men who eat lots of fish have, on average, a 51 percent higher spe rm count than those who barely eat any. Dark meat fish, like salmon or tuna, white meat fish, such as cod and halibut had a positive effect, too.
Full-fat dairy
A 2013 Human Reproduction study showed that young guys who eat at least two servings of full-fat dairy, especially cheese and whole milk per day tend to have fewer motile spe rm.
What you should eat instead: Rather than take the full-fat dairy, switch to the low-fat kind. Men who consume a couple servings of low-fat dairy, especially 1% or 2% milk per day have 33 percent higher s***m counts and more motile sperm than those who eat little or no low-fat dairy, a 2014 study in Fertility and Sterility found.
Non-organic produce
Men who consumed the most pesticide residues through produce had 64 percent fewer normal sperm and 70 percent fewer motile sperm than guys who took in the least, a study presented at the 2014 American Society for Reproductive Medicine Annual Meeting showed.
What you should eat instead: Organic fruits and vegetables is advisable.
Alcohol
According to a 2012 Brazilian study, drinking alcohol may have a negative impact on spe rm concentration and motility.
Too much alcohol intake may lead to total-body oxidative stress, which is a key cause of male infertility, the researchers say.
What you should drink instead: If you want to constantly sip something besides water, make it pomegranate juice.
The purple juice is a rich source of antioxidants, like vitamin C and past research has linked a high intake of antioxidants in men to better semen quality.
Though an occasional beer probably won’t do your body any harm.
Soda
Regularly drinking sugar-sweetened drinks, slightly more than serving per day was linked to poorer spe rm motility in a new study.
Taking sugary beverages like soda, sports drinks, sweet tea boosts your odds of insulin resistance, which in turn leads to oxidative stress than can damage your spe rm, the scientists say.
What you should take instead: If you need a shot of sugar, make it the kind found in fruit not soda.

The label is yet to be named but is in partnership with British retailer Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. 

Speaking on the new partnership today, Beyonce said; “I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business. I have always loved Topshop for its fashion credentials and forward thinking”. “Working with its development team to create and produce a technical and fashion-led collection is exciting and I’m looking forward to participating in all aspects of this partnership.” 

Philip Green of Arcadia (Operators of Topshop) has stated that this is more than his other conventional collaborations – it is a partnership.

Woman Killed In India For Allegedly Practising Witchcraft?

Indian Police on Monday said a 55-year-old Indian woman was tortured and beaten to death by her relatives who suspected her of practising witchcraft. 


The District police chief, Narendra Khare, told newsmen in Bemetera district. 

Khare said that Dukalheen Bai died in the Bemetera district of the central state of Chhattisgarh on Saturday night and 12 family members, including her brother-in-law Nakul Patel, were arrested for the crime. 

“Patel and his family blamed her for making his son ill by practicing witchcraft. 

“On Saturday, they dragged the woman out of the house, punched her and beat her with sticks, she died on the scene,” Khare said. 

Report says India has no specific law against witch hunting and incidents of torture and murders of women branded as witches are reported at regular intervals from around the country. 

According to the National Crime Records Bureau, at least 2,100 people, mostly women, were murdered between 2000 and 2012 for allegedly practicing witchcraft.

“On Jan 1st 2009, I was kidnapped by armed robbers for felt like the worst 45 mins of my life. I’d also had a rough year leading up to that point, and was THIS close to giving up on my music. God used this man to calm, encourage, support and inspire me then as he’d done so many times.

I’m Scared Of Something Else, Not Olamide And Davido” – Zeez

Imo State born musician, Kingsley Elikpo otherwise called Zeez is making a comeback to the music scene he dominated some years ago with the release of his new single, ‘Atewo’ featuring rapper Olamide. 


However, despite the stiff competition in the industry, he has said he’s not afraid of anyone. 

The singer, who used to be called DJ Zeez, said he embarked on a deliberate hiatus from the music to study some courses but which are not music related in any way. 

Speaking on his new collaboration with Olamide in a recent interview with Punch, he said: ‘I collaborated with Olamide because we are from the same hood-Bariga, alongside 9ice, Reminisce and Lord of Ajasa. 

It is my first collaboration in many years. I wanted to identify with my Bariga fans, who have been disturbing and clamouring for collaboration from us. The feedback has been awesome. Atewo means clap. It is a celebratory song for people doing well in different walks of life.’ 

Speaking on the new level of competition in the music industry now, Zeez said, ‘If you are a player in a non-competitive industry, it is best to leave it fast. Yes, the industry is a lot better now compared to when I began. The social media hype, which a lot of artistes including me, now enjoy, was non-existent at the time. 

What matters most is constantly rebuilding and reevaluating oneself to keep moving with the times because change is the only constant thing. Competition only makes me a better. Artistes like Davido and Olamide, are no threat to me.’ 

The music act, who is now known simply as Zeez, went on to add that he is only scared of not being remembered for his contributions. 

‘I am afraid of not being remembered for who I was or impact I made. That is why I try to be a perfectionist in all my dealings. I do not try to imitate any artiste because it is not all about having hit tracks or endorsements but about having a genuine talent and passion for music.
