This is just an advice from a guy who have tasted both sides and found that a broke guy who is in relationship is not being true to himself.
To be honest, most of what we have heard about relationship are unfounded. Nobody will love you for who you are when you don’t have shi shi. That’s just the truth.
Even the independent ladies who don’t want your money will want someone who’s settled in their life. For them, finding a partner is about finding someone who fits into their lifestyle and plans for the future. That includes things that cost money.
Below are the reasons why broke guys should forget dating for now.
1. You are not ready for it.
You may want it but honestly you don’t need it. You need to be thinking of a master plan. You need to re-prioritize your life and get busy with something. Anybody who is having some major financial struggles needs to be focused on getting that together, not dating. get your act together THEN date.
2. You Ego Will Be Bruised Money does matter in our society, way too much. A person’s ability to eat and look good and get medicine in time of need and take care of your woman are the things that makes one a man. Think about it, she called you on phone and asked for money and you gave her the same answer. “I no get”. Then you found out much later that she somehow got the money. You ask and was told that she got it from another guy. Your heart is darned if he is one of her admirers that you are aware of.
3. It Is A Distraction A broke guy needs all the time in the world alone to sort out things and having a woman who will add some few loads to his already bent shoulder will do him no good. Don’t tell me he needs a woman’s support because a good female friend supports one more than his girlfriend. You don’t need that extra load.
4. You Will Be Cheated On You read me right. Girls have the habit of getting bored of things quickly, this is due to who they are, which is coupled with the pressures of society. Society always wants them to get the newest and latest thing, so one day she will get tired of hoping and waiting and accept that guy who has been disturbing her. She may not tell you about it because she wouldn’t want to hurt you so you end up being cheated on.
5. You Will Be FriendsZoned She likes you but cannot continue to date you because you cannot take care of her needs. So she would friendzone you in other not to lose you completely. At least there is something you are good at and she will keep your friendship because of that. Women are smart walahi
6. She Won’t Feel Loved Since traditionally men are the ones that pay for dates, it is impossible then to prove your love when there is no shi shi. How can you surprise her? How can you take her out on a date or buy her gifts? How can you say you love her when she cannot rely on you when she is broke?
7. You Will Be Dumped Not because she doesn’t love you but because You are not the right material for a woman who has marriage and raising a family in her agenda. You may be lucky to get someone who will stand by you but a goal without a deadline is just a dream. She will eventually get tired of hoping and give up. Your Bottom will be dumped. Sorry
I know that all people deserve to be loved no matter who or what they are but money is very important in every relationship so I think a man that cannot afford to date needs to wait wink Top Seven Reasons Why Broke Guys Should Not Date

The First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, on Tuesday restated that she was not involved in the selection of candidates vying for elective positions on the platform of the PDP.
This is contained in a statement issued by her Media Assistant, Ayo Adewuyi, in Abuja.
The statement was in reaction to a media publication alleging that Jonathan had anointed the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi, Dave Umahi, as the gubernatorial candidate of the party.
“It has again come to our notice that some politicians who are desperate to score cheap political points have connived to tarnish the image of the first lady, Patience Faka Jonathan, by roping her into the Ebonyi PDP crisis.
“We consider it absurd that any person will assume that the first lady would make such a request considering the fact that she has continued to preach for peaceful conduct of all aspirants before, during and after elections.”
According to the statement, this is another attempt by mischief makers to loop their self-induced political travails around the first lady to develop strategy for their survival.
“Let us state once again that the first lady is not an elected official of the state, neither is she a party functionary. She therefore recognises very clearly her place in the scheme of things.
“Let it be known that the first lady has no hand in the selection of the party’s candidates in any state and definitely not in Ebonyi.
“If anything, she has continued the gospel of peaceful atmosphere for the conduct of 2015 elections.’’
According to the statement, she believes the elections can only be conducted in a peaceful atmosphere and the aspirants must be alive to contest and win election.
“She only preaches peace because she is a mother of peace.
“To therefore allege that the first lady insisted that the Ebonyi State Deputy Governor, Dave Umahi, must be the gubernatorial candidate of the party against the wish of the people and the party is to say the least subjudice.”
The statement said that the National Working Committee was making efforts to ensure that peace returned to the state chapter of the party.

The 25-year-old man alongside two of his alleged accomplices were arrested two years after they allegedly conspired with others to kidnap a female banker, Popoola Morenikeji, and collected the sum of N5 million as ransom before they set her free.
According to the police, PMnews reports that the suspects kidnapped the victim at Amuwo Odofin area of Mile 2, Lagos close to her residence when she stepped out of her vehicle to buy something and took her to an uncompleted building in a bush at Mowe area of Ogun State.
They tied her legs and hands and kept her for four days until a ransom was paid before they set her free.
The suspects reportedly set the victim free after her family members paid the sum of N5 million as ransom.
The suspects, according to the police, also sold the victim’s Toyota Corolla car valued at N1.8 million for N250,000 to David Nwangboe (now at large).
They also sold all the jewellery and handsets of the victim valued at N2 million and shared the loot.
Other suspects arrested in connection with the crime include Osas Osagie, 23, from Ogbe village, Oredo LGA of Edo State and Patrick Donatus Jackson, 29, who resides at 13, Famuyiwa Street, Idimangoro, Agege, Lagos, and hails from Akwa Ibom State.
One of the suspects simply called Jek is also at large.
However, nemesis caught up with the arrested suspects two years after they allegedly perpetrated the act on August 1, 2014.
The alleged ring leader, Nnaji regrouped with others and sent a threat to life text message to the victim to send N150,000 into their account for recharge card, with a warning that if she failed to send the money, they will trail her this time around and eliminate her.
The banker immediately sent a petition to the Inspector general of Police after receiving the sms to save her from the kidnappers.
The Commissioner of Police Federal SARS, DCP Chris Ezike, took the matter up and deployed a team led by Inspector Oluwemimo Banjoko to fish out the suspects and they were arrested in Lagos and Edo states.
During interrogation, all the suspects allegedly confessed to the crime and led the police to the place they kidnapped the woman and kept her for four days before she was set free.
In his alleged confession to the police, Nnaji said Jek masterminded the kidnapping .
“Jek brought the information that there was a woman that has money but she was very selfish and that he will want us to assist him kidnap her and collect money from her. One of us, Patrick, a private driver, provided his master’s car with which we trailed the victim to her street at Amuwo Odofin Estate, Mile 2 Lagos and kidnapped her.
We blindfolded her and took her to an uncompleted building at Mowe area of Ogun state and kept her and contacted her family to pay the sum of N5 million as ransom or else we will kill her.
The family paid N1.5m and not N5m as claimed by the victim and the police and we released her, but we did not allow the victim to suffer while in our custody as we fed her with rice and chicken throughout the four days she spent with us.
“My worry now is that I don’t know how the devil pushed me again two years after we committed the crime to threaten the victim again for more money before we were arrested.
God has blessed me as I am the director of music at the Christ Embassy Zone 1 Parish , Idimangoro, Lagos and also an actor who played a prominent role in a film titled Friday Night which gave me fame and fortune.
I promise to change if I am set free,” Nnaji said.
The suspects have however been charged before an Igbosere Magistrates’ court, Lagos on a four-count charge of felony to wit, armed robbery.
The offenses the police prosecutor, Supol Charles Odii said, are punishable under section 6 b, 1, 2(A) and b of the Robbery and Firearms Act and sections 269(1)(2)(3) and 270 of the criminal laws of Lagos state, 2011.
The plea of the accused persons was not taken and Magistrate E. N. Johnson ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody pending DPP’s advice on the matter.
She adjourned the case till 13 January, 2015 for mention.

It has become a way of life for many ladies of today; money for hand, back for ground. Pm News Campus Square went about to ask some students why they think prostitution is so rampant on campuses and what they think can be done to curb it and here’s what they have to say.
Bashorun Aminat of the University of Lagos [UNILAG] said:
“I don’t think it is seen as prostitution any longer. The issue is that basically, girls here are after the tall, cute guy who can pay their bills and must have a car. That is very important.
“The girls do not hesitate once such a guy approaches them. If he has a car then they are good to go. A case happened last semester when some girls left the hostel in the evening and told their roommates that they wanted to stroll out just within the school premises.
“A report was brought later the next day that the three friends were involved in a serious car accident in which one of them died…
“They come to pick them with cars or they take cab to their destination and when they return the next day, they come back big with a huge intimidating amount of money and they flaunt it for all to see.
“We are in deep trouble in this country if urgent step is not taken to address this crisis. But, the question is; who will provide the platform for such reforms to take place, when it was the same politicians, political office holders, bureaucrats, and some traditional rulers that are the major promoters of such illicit business in the first place.”
Another UNILAG student, Akorede, said, “To curb prostitution in our tertiary institutions, there should be law prohibiting prostitution on campuses. Those who indulge in it should be arrested. This will deter those who want to venture into the trade.”
“Anglomoz is the mother of ‘mini-hotels’ where ‘big boys’ come to pick up the willing ladies. Some have even been recognized by the cars they bring as they do not miss the rendezvous every night.
“Their activities reduce during exam period. Honestly, I am indifferent about it. I really do not care what they do with their lives.”
“The practice of dating older men for money has taken over Nigerian schools by female students who so much desire to live a life beyond what their parents can provide for them,” Jerry Adeyemi said.
”Prostitution on our campuses is no longer news. But it is difficult to pin point who to put the blame on. Is it the campus girls or their patrons?” he queried.
A senior lecturer with one of the universities in Lagos who pleaded anonymity, told our reporter that the issue at hand is beyond university students as there are many young ladies who engaged in street prostitution parading themselves as students thereby mingling with students.
It is difficult to pin down the exact year campus prostitution started, it has been widely acknowledged that it started in full swing in the 90s.
