                           The woman was arrested alongside six of her friends who allegedly assisted in assaulting the husband’s lover.
                            Leadership gathered that the husband, a driver attached to the Bayelsa State government house and a native of Akwa Ibom State, reportedly fled the scene of the incident after his wife and her friends caught him and his lover in a bar.                       It was gathered that the incident which occurred  on Thursday, at a bar along the Okaka road, attracted a huge crowd, as the aggrieved housewife and her friends descended on the husband’s alleged lover and stri pped her na ked.
                    Apparently an eyewitness said that the owner of the bar, who has secretly been asked by the housewife to    spy on the two, alerted her and her friends at about 7.30pm of the presence of her husband and her lover at the bar.
                      It was reported that the housewife and her friends did not show her husband’s lover mercy despite being on her monthly flow, they were said to have taken photos of video of her na ked while forcing her to dance.
                        The incident was said to have caused quite a stir until the men of the police patrol team from the Ekeki Division arrived and took the housewife and her friends away.
                           The investigation, handled by an officer who gave his name as Inspector Chinedu, is expected to lead to the arrest of the owner of the bar, following the filing of an assault charge against the housewife and her friends.

Operatives at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Lagos, are currently investigating two robbers, allegedly invited by a housemaid to rob her boss (names withheld) in Magodo Estate, Lagos State.
According to reports, the housemaid, simply identified as Mary, connived with the robbers, identified as Ikong Daniel, 22, her lover, and Pius Dennis, 20, to rob her boss a few days after she was employed. During interrogation, the suspects revealed that Mary took them into her boss’ bedroom, where they stole her money, gold jewellery and other valuables.

However, trouble started when the maid escaped with the proceeds of the operation. Unfortunately, Ikong Daniel and Pius Dennis were arrested while attempting to escape.

Suspect’s account

Confessing to the crime, Daniel said: “It was my girlfriend, Mary, that perfected the plan to rob her madam. She recently started work there as a housemaid and invited us to the house. I did not plan with Mary to rob her boss. We have been dating for about three months.

“Dennis got involved because I invited him. I told him that when he closed from work he should come to my house, because it had been over a year since we saw each other.

“After he closed, we went to my house in Ikorodu. When we got home, my girlfriend, Mary, called me on phone that I should come to where she was working at Magodo.

“I did not have money. It was Dennis that loaned me money for transportation from Ikorodu to Magodo. When we got there, she opened the gate and took us inside.

“When we got there, she said we should come inside that we have an assignment to carry out. She took us inside to her madam’s bedroom and asked us to hold the woman that there was money in the house.

“I do not know the exact amount or the worth the jewelleries she collected.

“It was Mary that also brought the knife we used to frighten the woman during the operation. I assisted her to hold the woman, while she parked her valuables.

“Mary, who is also from Cross River State, was able to escape with the proceeds from the operation.

“She promised to share with us whatsoever we made from the operation.”

Dennis, a commercial bike operator, confirmed Daniel’s story, adding “we were almost out of the estate when operatives of Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, apprehended us and brought us to Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS.

“It was Daniel that held the madam down, while his girlfriend packed the jewellery, money and other valuables.

“The mistake I made was not leaving when I realized that his girlfriend had invited us to rob her boss.”

                      A man named ‘Lye’ has written about his experience confronting a stranger at a Detroit Lions football game, after he claims he saw the man’s very pregnant girlfriend ‘romantically texting’ another man throughout the match.
                    At the end of the game, Lye handed the man a note revealing the alleged adulterous text messages, and later posted pictures of the note and the couple to Facebook. The images have since gone viral and are now sparking a heated debate online about whether it’s appropriate to wade into a complete stranger’s relationship.                     According to Lye’s post on Facebook, he was attending a Detroit Lions game last month when he was 
seated behind a couple who appeared to be dating.

Throughout the game, he claims he saw the woman casually texting a contact in her phone named ‘Jason’ apparently making comments like ‘I wish I was with you all day’ and ‘I will see you as soon as I am done with him’.

Meanwhile, he claims the woman kept the phone screen tilted out of eyesight of the man seated next to her, and would even shut it off and put it away when he engaged her in conversation.

Feeling sympathetic for the man seated in front of him, who he believes was being cheated on, Lye got up near the end of the game to find a pen and piece of paper to write the stranger a note. When the man got up to leave, Lye handed the piece of paper to him and told him to read it when he got home.

Lye later took to Facebook to post an image of the note and the woman who was seated in front of him, showing the back of her head with her phone out, writing a text.

The pictures have since gone viral online and many have called Lye out for interjecting himself into the stranger’s relationship.

Lye has since defended his actions to Mad World News, saying he usually likes to stay out of other people’s business, but overheard a few rude comments the woman made to the man she was with that made him pity her partner.

He says at one point in the game, another spectator commented on the size of a portion of fries saying: ‘Wow! For the price they charge for fries here, that’s pretty small. They barely give you anything.’ The woman in question allegedly quipped back: ‘It’s okay, I’m [used] to small things’.

Others criticized Lye for possibly putting the pregnant woman in harms way, pointing out that her boyfriend could have been abusive.

‘I doubt any woman who fears getting beat by her husband will speak that way and degrade him like she did or spend over 20 minutes texting the next man RIGHT BESIDE her “abusive” man,’ Lye responded. 

Others argued the man could have been a brother or a friend, but Lye said that his judgement of the situation was that they were a couple and that the man even seemed suspicious of her texting, as he ‘kept trying to look at her phone from the corner of his eyes’.

Despite the backlash, Lye says he would make the same decision again.

‘I don’t regret a damn thing, well except the fact that I didn’t leave anything for him to be able to contact me on.’
